Detectors Plus retails Pro-Tech carbon monoxide alarms and Firex smoke alarms at every-day low prices. Our stock includes a wide selection of smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms.

Detectors Plus represents a distributor and dealer of Smoke Alarms and Carbon Monoxide Alarms.

Our distributor/dealer ships nationwide, and will charge your orders direct. All products are new and unused. We do not sell used or refurbished items.

Most of the products we retail are in stock, and orders processed before 10:00 AM PST typically ship the same day. Inventory levels do fluctuate, however, and ship dates quoted are estimates only.

All of the policies set forth in this document in no way alter the terms of any of the manufacturer warranties that come with the products sold on this site.

PRODUCT WARRANTY

All products are warranted by the manufacturer. Limited manufacturer warranties are as follows:

Pro-Tech Carbon Monoxide Alarms: 5 Years
Firex Smoke Alarms: 5 Years

Please contact the manufacturer direct for warranty service. Detectors Plus and its distributor/dealer do not provide warranty service.

Detectors Plus and its distributor/dealer will not be liable, in any event, to the customer for damages, including but not limited to: lost profits, lost savings, incidental damages, consequential damages, or any damage conflicted through the use or the inability to use our product.

In no event, shall the liability of Detectors Plus and/or its distributor/dealer exceed the purchase price of our products.

By purchasing any product that is advertised on this site (detectorsplus.com), the customer acknowledges that he/she has read and understood the warranty disclaimers posted on this site (detectorsplus.com), and that he/she agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of Detectors Plus.

SHIPPING POLICIES

Detectors Plus and its distributor/dealer's responsibility for lost or damaged products ceases when the products are released to the carrier. All claims for lost or damaged product must be filed by customer directly with the carrier (UPS).

Please make sure that your billing address entered onto the order form is the same address to which you are billed for any credit card transactions.

You must enter a physical shipping address within the contiguous U.S. Our distributor/dealer cannot ship to a post office box or to an address outside the contiguous U.S. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that an authorized person is available to receive your order upon delivery. UPS transit time does not include the day shipped, holidays or weekends.

RETURN POLICY

All products must be new, unused, and have a pre-approved Returned Goods Authorization Number (RGA) before returning to our distributor/dealer. To obtain a RGA Number, you must make sure that the merchandise passes all of the required specifications below, then you must request an RGA from Detectors Plus by emailing your Return Request.

All materials returned must:
1. Be unused, new and resalable
2. Be in the manufacturer's original packaging
3. Include all documentation
4. Include all accessories
5. Be returned within 14 days of invoice date. NO returns will be accepted after the 14 day period is over.

Any products that arrive defective will be replaced by our distributor/dealer at no charge provided the defect is reported within 14 days of invoice date. Defects discovered after 14 days must be reported directly to the manufacturer. Refer to the owner's manual and warranty for instructions.

Any items returned for non-warranty issues will be subject to pre-approval by our distributor/dealer and a restocking fee of 25%. Customer is responsible for return freight. We recommend shipping via UPS, insured.

Customers who purchase more than 1 unit of any particular model may not return any of that particular model for non-warranty issues.

Any returned items that do not meet the above terms will be refused or returned to buyer. All sales are otherwise final.
