The carbon monoxide detectors alpha-numeric display is angled upward for easy reading once plugged into a standard electrical outlet. The LED readout automatically displays the current carbon monoxide levels detected between 30 to 500 ppm.

Every 2½ minutes carbon monoxide levels are measured and recorded by a semiconductor sensor. When an alarm threshold is reached, the carbon monoxide detectors 85dB audible alarm is sounded, a Red LED lights, and the CO level detected is automatically displayed on the LED screen.

The current and highest CO level detected between 10 to 500 ppm can be manually displayed by pressing the test/reset button.
